Damn Small Linux - Not!

Hi,

I can't manage to get the X server running on this laptop, it uses a Chips and Technologies video chipset (aka F65555) which seems to work fine with xorg,

but using any combination of resolution and color depths in both xvesa and fbdev result in a black screen (with vesa I have to press Ctl+Alt+F1 to return to the console)

I read somewhere that vesa is supported by the card, but maybe thats not true?
In xorg it does work with the "chips" driver.
