|
|
On my new epia 5000 motherboard with 384 MB of RAM I booted alpha2 dsl toram and got a panic.
cloop: read error at pos 3727360 in file /cdrom/ KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX, 21802 bytes lost.
cloop: error -5 uncompressing block 192 65536/65536/29233/0 3719929-3749162
Just trying to help. I know it will take awhile to get things right. |

I'm also having trouble with the EPIA 5000 motherboard.
Won't boot from CD, which didn't surprise me as I need to use syslinux version of DSL to boot. Tried a USB-ZIP install which works fine on DSL 2.3. Also no boot with DSL-N. Don't get as far as the kernel panic though; it just doesn't boot.
Still experimenting; will report back.

I run DSL-N in toram mode everyday on my thinkpad with 256MB memory.
If you are getting read errors on cloop then possibly a bad burn or download. |
