I just installed RC4 and unfortunately the icon tools have been completed messed up. I can't change the location of any icons. I can't manually add icons. If I do, all the icons appear for a split second when the desktop is "reloaded" and then disappear. If I remove my newly created icon and refresh the desktop, they re-appear. When I go into icontool, I can't make any changes that stick. If I specify that icons are to use X-Y coordinates and then click OK, it doesn't affect anything. If I go back into the icontool configuration, the settings are as they were before I attempted to change them.
Come on, this is simple shit. Why are stupid things like this getting broken in new releases? I must add, this is a horrible tool for managing icons. Isn't there something better in the great wide Linux world?
