|
|
I am trying to boot from a Compact Flash card. I successfully flashed my BIOS with the fast boot rom bios upgrade from VIA. When I try to reboot I get a few messages that indicate that it is attempting to boot from the CF, but nothing happens. Has anyone tried this? Are there kernel changes that I need to make and recompile?
Thanks

I used the frugal grub install for my CF disk.
Do you have an MII board and are you booting directly from the CF card slot? Did you have to make any kernle changes?
Perhaps I need to use the frugal lilo install.
Thanks

I didn't make the kernel changes. So, I will have to do that. Which format scripts are you talking about?
Thanks
