Forum Index -> Multimedia View previous topic :: View next topic   Author Message randiz Joined: 08 Oct 2006 Posts: 1 Posted: Sun Oct 08, 2006 1:35 am    Post subject: ALSA and intel 82801G (ICH7 ) HD I have installed the latest DSL-N ( 01rc4 ) on my USB drive and installed the ALSA.dsl Unfortunately the current Alsa distribution does not have module for this intel controller installed on my dell E1705. The newest ALSA distribution ( alsa.org ) has support for this chipset and I need to build it. For this I need the Gcc with libs, gnu utils and kernel source compatible with this version I dont see any listed in My Dsl app. So the question is where can I download and what versions of gcc, libs , kernel source should I use.
