I think dsl-n can be as big as 650Mb, because it is design that make it, not smallness,
which is just a goal helping you to choose best and fastest, most stable soft.
But in 150-200Mb you can have almost all that should be in.

1. free linux book, as txt or pdf, at least 10 of them, because we all need to learn
go and find best materials, and then put it in or give links
you are competent to choose
put that all in one folder, and give link directly from desktop

2. ntfs rw will be fine in dsl-n, as a companion with pavuk and wget, so that we can use
win32 tools, ... linux is great and superior, but linux+win32 is still unavoidable

linux is all about net, so how dsl-n can be without p2p clients?

we also need a whole bunch of spiders and downloaders, to catch present moment of
forums, blogs, youtube (downloader plus offline flash player), ...

the question is how to use full capabilities of those fast broadband connections,
instead of paying for just a dead line, waiting for what?

another question is how to process (view, manage, backup, ...) gigabytes in a short day
it is your call to try for yourself and for us too

of course, CLI soft is preferred whenever possible:
