User Feedback :: sbc/ Yahoo dsl modem
I have a scb yahoo speed stream modem, it is not a router. will it work with DSL linux? or are ther drivers that will make it work. I know DSL works with my old sbc/yahoo dsl 2Wire router. and if not will it with a belkin usb wireless adapter?
Sorry, I am a newbe to linux, just started trying it and i have a lot to learn. I read there is a DSL linux book, would that be good for a newbe like me?
DSL should work with any router that supports pppoe.
If your router does not work with pppoe then you will probably need to get some software such as rp-pppoe.
thanks i will give it a shot.
A few questions that are troubling me...
1. Why are you posting links to a Windows program here?
2. Why a link to an upload site rather than the software developer's website?
3. What makes it "rated #1" when Apache is obviously much more widely used and recommended than any other server?
Sorry
I ment no offence, i posted it for those who do duel OS boots. I also thought if it was liked then someone might be interested in making a installable package like the dotpup for Puppy linux. the uploade site was because i can not do a website on my main pc it crashed a weekago. and i just wanted a way to host freeware, maybe linux operating systems also, like a mirror or somthing, that is when i find a site that offers larger uploads. and finally for the rated #1, that was an over site I ment to put "I think #1" i feel it is less complicated than Apache, i am software challenged on some stuff.
Again i am sorry for concerning you, and i will think twice before posting any more None linux links, or at least explain them if i do put them in.
P.S. i did not mean to give the imprestion i was spamming
