User Feedback :: Newb

I'm a complete linux newb, with partial experience with slackware and mandrake.. but i've never had so much fun with a distro like i'm having now.

I hope to become a helpful member in time, i just need to learn Linux its time. :D

Aw f*%k! If AwPhuch posts "Welcome to the Revolution" one more time, my .44's gonna start blazing. Dude! Your intentions are awesome and being welcoming and encouraging to new DSL'lrs is great but reading the same post over and over and over again is getting real old. Maybe message the person privately or mix up the wording a little or something?
Pllfft  :p

I enjoy welcoming others to a great distro...I have offered much help and making others feel welcome to the community is an intergral part of a more veteran posters job...

Some people actually find my "Welcome to the Revolution" posts as a nice jesture to newbs, noobs, or beginners

At least I dont hide my identity behind a unregistered post...I let others know what I know, unselfishly welcoming them to our community and to the forums and to the Revolution!

Thanks for noticing as well..I though my shouts atop my soapbox were falling on deaf ears

P.S.  There are three forums I do this on...

You are the 1st ever to get upset...if you dont want to see me post it..then beat me to the welcoming!!  :D

No the posts are a nice gesture. They're a good thing that I dont see other forums and I didnt say, or didnt mean to say to not welcome people. Its just the same words over and over that I was suggesting to maybe change. If it's always going to be the same why not make it an automatic message for all new posters?
