X and Fluxbox :: help me please i am a pathetic newb.
I have just gotten DSL to run and i need to select what xserver to install or boot or sumthin and i have pressed every key on my keyboard and it has done nothing what should i do?
please guys you keep looking at it but i get no help. I have it running on my other computer and i need to use it pleasseeee help.
this issue depends on your hardware
usually xvesa will be ok, for newer hardware. try a basic config like
800*600 or 1024*800 with 16 millions colors and 2 button mouse.
else try framebuffer or lower resolutions.
there's plenty of info on this matter in this forums. tens of threads.
use the search field to browse them.

Don't be embarrased, actually this is about as stupid as it gets and why plenty of people leave linux... you boot up and there is a command boot: 
? Of course there is no prompt or documentation... duh, what the hell is next?
