Trusting I don't get too many peoples backs up but I am looking for some assistance in adding touchscreen functionality to embedded pc project that I am busy with.

The application is a GUI application, so touchscreen needs to be supported in windowing environment as well as supplying software based keyboard interface.

The touchscreen that I would like to use has a usb interface.

As I am using this in an embedded pc application I need to keep the solution as lightweight as possible.

Due to time constraints I am looking for someone able to resolve this in as short as time as possible.

My apologies to those offended. (I personally would like to see forum item for just such requests).

Resolve what? Nobody knows what you want to do yet.

Gotta admit, I'm curious as to what you're doing, but I have no idea what you want.  You need to give more information before someone is going to be willing to help.  Especially since it sounds like you're going to be making some money off this.

Why should I bog this forum down with
a) detailed information which will not be relevant to most people.
b) The 'offended' is raised as I am offering payment to someone who is willing and able to assist. Some people may well believe this forum is not intended for this.
c) And yes, I am going to make money (at least try) from this which is why I made it obvious that I am willing to pay for this service.

Also I don't think if I addressed any of your comments you would be in any better position to quote (at least I wouldn't).

The idea was to have people who believe they have the skill set to contact me to discuss further offline and not tie this forum up.
