Freeciv on Linux is weird though. And no network play either :( .

But anyway I installed it by going to debian and downloading all the dependences manually (I have no networking under linux).

And I made the icons in gimp and the links in scite. If it werent for the rox file browser I wouldnt have discovered those hidden directories :;):

I was also pertty surprised that it worked too :D
And another plus is that I got a bunch of extra extensions for gimp.

How would you go about running KDE or GMONE in DSL?

Is that a .dsl extension or did you build it yourself...much much coolness man!!!!!!!

Jerome5,

Looks like your running knoppix or something! Are all the extra programs as result of 'apt-get distro upgrade?

Of course it now begs the question of Knoppix trimmed down or DSL built up ???

Well once I've got my newer laptop itll be DSL built up :;):

It is dsl built up. I didnt have the patience to download knoppix.

My main problem with it is that I cant get XFree86 to work or my AGP detected.

Cool -- What are the specs of the system that you're running that on?
Dell 8300

hd-install
120 gig hd
winXP in hda2
dsl in hda3
dell utility in hda1

256 mess of ram

onboard sound and network card.

gf4 mx 440 (dosent really matter though cause I cant get hardware acceleration without a full x server)
