any help would be appriciated.

o right i found the install to usb option....but when it asks for the name of my usb (eg sda) how do i know what my usb is called.
ive tried doing lsusb but nothing shows up. ive also tried
mount /dev/sda/ /mnt/usb
but i get "not a vaild block device"??
whats that mean..and how can i get the name of my usb.
thanks
no one at all!
Usually the partition is associated with the usb drive. For example it is most probably sda1. The way I usually check is to plug it in, give it about 20 seconds to recognize it and type 'cat /etc/fstab' and look for sda1. I have found that sometimes my drive is first seen as sda so I have to repeat the process and the second time it sees the partition and it shows up as sda1. Hope this helps somewhat.
thanks...but I dont even think its recongnizing my usb device.
I keep getting the not a vaild device error.... what does that mean?
or if there is an alternate way of putting dsl on my usb drive could someone please tell me
