I'm talking about the netcardconf.lua script: in order to save the settings on reboot the /opt/eth0.sh (in my case eth0, but could be also eth1, wlan0, etc) should be added to /home/dsl/.filetool.lst
Another problem is that the lua script is a bit regressive cause it doesn't auto recognise the nameservers as the Klaus Knopper one does.

I forgot about that one. One that I didn't write.
Maybe best to email the author.

Ive noticed over these last few RC's that one of my laptops stalls with the floppy whiring away for up to 2 mins when it gets to creating /etc/fstab . The whole boot process hangs while this sits there sorting itself out with about 3 dots after the /etc/fstab. It only happens when I boot from floppy . I generally use fromusb frugal options. The laptop in question has a NTFS and a FAT32 partition on the HD .
Trying rc4 on Virtual Box. Frugal install on a 500mb virtual disk.
Hd formated as this; hda1 55mb, hda2 250 mb (ext3), hda3=swap
Frugal install on hda1 with Grub. When I try to point backup on hda2 and press "backup" everything hangs, the backup button is "down" and nothing works anymore.

I cannot find the netcardconf.lua menu item in the fluxbox menu.

Wouldn't be better to have the same menu items organization in fluxbox as in dfm?

Had a play with the conky uci . It seems to run almost identical to torsmo with the old torsmorc renamed as mentioned previously.
I tried it on 3 machines including 2 laptops. 1 old laptop and 1 new laptop. When running on AC the battery indicator does not seem to say anything unlike torsmo which stated "AC"
The UCI extension suffers the double up on shorcuts in the MyDsl menu. Also noticed the extra overhead with this UCI as compared to torsmo . This showed up on one laptop which only has 128Megs of ram . I just could not push as many apps out of it as I normally could. This machine runs close to the edge as it is.
I also noticed the torsmo_ip file which is used in the torsmorc file. If you change across to conky then this would be worth renaming I guess.
