Release Candidates :: DSL-2.0RC1

When I perform a DSL hard drive install on a Compaq Presario 1200 laptop with LILO, I get "L 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 ..." after I boot.
L9 9 9 9 is covered in the wiki. Nothing new or to do with this RC.
MethodOne: I had the same problem with my 1610.  I reinstalled, but when the screen flashed to reboot, I immediatedly powered it down.  I then started the computer and it worked fine.  I did find that the grub install worked fine if you wanted to try that instead.
I'm getting Juanito's errors

1 and 3 with that pesky  "you passed an undefined mode number, press space to continue..." error has always been received by me on any Dell puter in my school which subsequently affects the graphics. I have tried almost ever suggestion I have found reqarding this but still have not succeeded.  We still have a way to go before this is compatible with most puters sadly. Any other suggestion.  I'll be the next one to buy a DSL TSHIRT IF I can get rid of this damn error...

Re: Batman

This is nothing new with this RC, so it doesn't belong here.

The cause is the crappy integrated Intel graphics card.
