Hi to all,

Sorry, but mine english is very bad!

How can I start nfs-server with Damn small Linux.

I would like to release/export Directory in the network with NFS.

DSL comes with an NFS client, but does not contain a built-in NFS server.

However, you should be able to apt-get it from the Internet.

Try either the "Enable Apt" menu item or the "Get Synaptic" menu item.  Synaptic is an easy-to-use graphical interface for the command line apt-get system.

YEEAAAHHH.....

That is it.....is working

I wish to do the same....but I am behind a corporate firewall, so apt-get via Synaptic will not work.  Is there a way to get it working from behind the firewall?  Or, where can I download these nfs files and install them myself?

Thanks!

Maybe have a look here:

you'll still need to enable apt before installing, and you might also need gnu-utils:

install deb packages with "sudo dpkg -i packagename.deb"
