Multimedia :: xMMs CD

Have the DSL Mini-ITX Barebones Computer with 512 Mg Ram
USB pendrive (128M)
USB (Aopen) CD/DVD rw drive (BYTECC case)

Finally got the audio to work with the News but can't find how to address the USB drive.
I can bring the DSL CD up on the drive.
Really would like to play CDs

Thanks,
vince

Need to add some info here.

The  command    dmesg | grep scsi -A 3
gives me this info about the CD/DVD drive

scsi4 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1621
Vendor: AOPEN     Model: DUW1616/ARR       Rev: 1000
Type:   CD-ROM                             ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0 at scsi4, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
sr0: scsi-1 drive
Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.12
WARNING: USB Mass Storage data integrity not assured
USB Mass Storage device found at 3

Really don't like the WARNING but don't know what to do about it

My equipment is:
DSL Mini-ITX Barebones Unit
LT210 VIA C3 Processor
512 Mg Ram
USB-Zip SanDisk Cruzer Micro 512M pendrive
USB-Zip OTi Flash Disk 128M pendrive (from DSL)
USB-CD/DVD  AOpen DUW1616/ARR

Thanks

It would probably work with the command
xmms   /dev/sr0

mikshaw,
Well, no go.
Says I'm missing numerous .so files.
What I don't understand is why can't I mount that drive.
I couldn't copy the files any way as running on 512 pendrive and the
test CD is around 680megs.
Will see if I can google for the files and then try again.
Thanks for the help.

The missing so files are just plugins.  Xmms in DSL gives this warning all the time, with no trouble during playback.  Personally I would look through the whole dmesg output if grep doesn't give you anything useful, or try grepping for 'hd' or 'sd' instead of 'scsi'.  I think all you need to do is find the appropriate device name, which could be hdc, hdd, sda, or some other thing.
Also, if the drive was attached during boot, there should be an entry for it in /etc/fstab.
