Networking :: Ftp access to DSL ?

Hi,

is it possible to access DSL with FTP ?
I want to upload my website to it ..

Are you asking if the distribution has an FTP server? I'm not sure what you mean.

DSL has an FTP client in it called AXYftp, that you can use to ftp your web site any where, you just need to get your web site files onto the computer that is running DSL by any method you choose, example, network/internet download, floppy, cd, ect. I use it all the time to update my web site,works great.

After thinking about it, I think what you are asking is whether DSL has an ftp server running on it. No it does not,
(I think). You would have to be running ProFTPd or something simalar on the DSL box. So unless you have local access to the DSL box, so you could use AXYftp, you will have to find other means to get your Web site files to it.

No FTP server, but there is the scp server.
