Post by: enotbear on December 10, 2012, 09:07:04 PM
I installed DSL by method 3 on SD.

Code:
error:file not found. Press any key to continue

It can't find your kernel; try editing grub commands when you restart your computer; it is probably looking on the wrong disk.

Yes, I understand it, but how?  I already try few tricks:
1.try to rename files from linux24 to linux-vmlinuz,
2.replace from /boot/isolinux to /boot
with appropriate grub.cfg editing.

If You have successful installed on SD,
Can I ask  You to post here Your grub.cfg and files map, I make the same structure?

To edit grub, when the grub screen comes up, press 'e' to edit the boot line, likely this is pointing to the wrong drive, it should be the first.
(It probably has sdb, it should be sda.) Once booted, go to /boot/grub & alter the configuration file with the same drive.
