how can i configurate my sound card?
I have a hp compac presario v2415la... it has an: ATI technologies Inc IXPsb400 AC` 97 audio controler..
Can you help me?

If alsautils is installed and running try in the terminal: alsactl init
that will setup your sound card.

DAMN SMALL LINUX is great.... today i burn my favourite extension on a cd....
