1  Damn Small Linux / USB booting / No SATA and no apt-get on: June 28, 2019, 10:12:19 AM
Sorry to ask 2 at once!
Boots ok from "Rufus" USB (dd wouldn't work) but cannot even see any hard drive in either of my two laptops.
Tried in Virtualbox and also would only see IDE drives, not SCSI.
Tried "expert" but unsure which modules to load and auto-config fails to find even the /KNOPPIX on USB pen.
What to do?

Got a "debian style" install-to-hd to work OK in VirtualBoxbut what's the use with no apt?
Which apt deb should I get? Will even that work with no dpkg?

Using dsl-4.4.10.iso,    (52,328,448 bytes)  seems to be made 18/11/2008
Is that latest?
