Using Sylpheed to read hotmail messages: .... Go to Account preferences. Full name: jcdq Mail Address: name@hotmail.com... Organization: jcdq _____________ Server information: POP3(normal) Server for receiving: pop3.live.com SMTP server: smtp.live.com UserID: name@hotmail.com Password: xxxx Receive TAB.... Don´`t remove messages on server when received! Default inbox: inbox
On the SEND tab: Header:default values. Under Authentication select SMTP Authentication with authentication method of Automatic. Leave USERID and Password blank and it will default.
COMPOSE tab: default SSL tab:
POP·3: Use SSL for POP3 connection
For SEND (SMTP): Use SSL for SMTP connection
Advanced tab: default
Apply and click: OK.
On the Sylpheed main screen click GET or GET ALL. You should see the program trying to read your mail from gmail.

I have two computers with Damn Small Linux. The first is an Eone Emachines 500.The other is a Presario V2415LA. I want to send files between both using audio cables. How can I use netcat to get it? Do I have to use soundmodem, too?

Hi, friends... Where can I find the tulip driver -if possible version 1.1.15 (feb.27.2007) (or how can I find and run the tulip.o file)? Thanks for any answer....

DSL is great! My eMachines eOne (64mb RAM) got on to work. I can enjoy FLAC songs with mPlayer. I can read my mail, work on gnumeric.. DSL has all I need.
