I am trying to install DSL 4.11rc2  into a Vmware VM, but am not able to get it to install to the hard disk. I have tried  having both IDE and SCSI virtual disks mapped and have tried installing to hda, hda0, sda, sda0.  DSL seems to format the disk with EXT3, install, ask for the bootloader, ask about windows, and even reboot. Everything seems fine but the DSL will not boot off the internal disk.

I need to make it boot off the drive (vmdk) and not the CD because I need to make 50 VMs as small as possible (no gui needed).

any ideas?
