Dear All

As I know it's possible to install DSL on pendrive (not live mode but full RW rights for rendrive required).
But I know also pendrive (flashes generally) doesn't like to often memory rewrite processes.
Is I know I shouldn't to use ext4 (ext3 for flash is better.
I was also informed I should turn off my swap (set it as ramdisc) and /tmp and /run should be set to ramdisc also.

Could you help me how to install DSL on pendrive and how to reconfigure it then (swap etc).

Thank you very much.

Best regards

Just install as normal, without any swap, then alter /etc/fstab to add noatime - that is all I do when using solid state types of disks, (SSD/Pendrive/SD/SDHC).  Wink
