Hello Bob here,

I am fairly noobish to Linux. I have played with  a lot of full distros but never got into the nuts and bolts.

I'm cleaning out my basement and found my old Dell Latitude CPi 266 MHz 128MB laptop. 30GB HDD

I did a frugal install and it was working fine until I downloaded some packages GTk, Firefox etc... and on reboot i get these long scrolling error messages and the it stops and I need to do a reboot  with dsl norestore or something.

How can I go back and delete stuff and reasign where stuff is saved so I dont need to reinstall?

You should be able to edit your /backup.tar.gz file to remove extensions that you think are causing the problem.

Or, if there's nothing you've saved in DSL that you want to keep, you could just delete your backup.tar.gz file and DSL will start as if you used the "norestore" cheatcode. Then you can make a new one.

Or remove the extensions from your MyDSL folder if you load them that way.

THanks. And where can I find it on Android? The link is only about Windows, Linux and Mac.

It can be changed when you install it.
