Reposting as own problem.  I downloaded DSL to a CD.  I put in the CD and it boots up sort of and then stops and says "Checking for for USB... "  15 min later I am still looking at that same thing.  Any Ideas on what to do about this?  This happens on both the Live and install, and all 3 of my computers (2 desk top, 1 laptop).  It wont go further.

Try booting with "nousb" and see if it boots, if not, try "failsafe".

The wiki documentation on cheat codes may be helpful.

Hi Cyberhollow. Sorry I wasn't able to previously comment on your first post - I wasn't sure what to advise so hoped someone else may have been able to assist. I hope you've got your problem sorted out by now. If not, perhaps you can re-download the iso to an USB or copy the CD on to an USB then try an install from the USB? Hope something works soon
