Hello, I'm trying to install a Ralink RT2070 Wireless dongle on my Compaq Armada 1573DM laptop. Only DSL runs on this computer and when I try to install the RT2870USB (that was told to be compatible on other foums) the make command returns "invalid option -Wpointer-sign" and aborts the compilation.

I'm running DSL 4.11 RC2.

Laptop Specifications: Pentium MMX 233Mhz
                                 98Mb Ram
                                 4Gb HD
                                 No ethernet connection
                                 56Kbs internal modem

Thanks.

Check the dependencies for RT2870USB, it might need a later version of "make", "gcc", etc. than the one you are using.
