Hi all Smiley
I just installed DSL 4.4.10 on my old laptop, and I have this USB wireless card.
Its Realtek 8187L Wireless lan usb adapter.
I cant get it to install my drivers that I have on CD.

Driver that I have is

Code:
Release Date: 2006-02-09, ver 1.2
RTL8187 Linux driver version 1.2

--This driver supports RealTek RTL8187 Wireless LAN driver for
     Fedora Core 2/3/4/5, Debian 3.1, Mandrake 10.2/Mandriva 2006,
     SUSE 9.3/10.1/10.2, Gentoo 3.1, etc.
   - Support Client mode for either infrastructure or adhoc mode
   - Support WEP and WPAPSK connection

Can anyone help me with installing this USB Wifi adapter on my DSL ?

Hi thesaka24,
I wrote a few months ago a text about an USB-wifi-device installation on a DSL-Not powered system, very similar to the DSL OS, except kernel version (2.6.12). Both OS support the "ndiswrapper method", ie using the MicroSoft Windows 32bits Device Driver (W2K/XP).

You will find it at this url:

http://michelterras.perso.sfr.fr/index.html?n=12
then find chapter about :
USB Wifi Device Belkin F5D7050B installation for DSL-Not

if it doesn't work with DSL, i suggest you to try with DSL-NOT, which may support more devices...

Hope it can help!
May DSL & DSL-NOT be with you!
Bye!
