What is the overlay application in X that starts up automatically and how can I disable that bad boy?

If you're talking about the system monitor at the top right of the desktop, it is called "torsmo". To disable it, put a hash at the start of the line beginning with "torsmo" (bellow the entry that automatically starts the help page in Dillo) in the file "/home/dsl/.xinitrc".

Duh!  I had already commented out the dillo line in there.  Worked great thanks!

Hi Sir: Can I disable the server and let the form show as VCL application?  Is there any properties I need to adjust?  MainForm or UniMainModule or UniServerModule?  Thanks Jack Fang
