Hi
Im as new as newbies come re Linux, I have about 8 laptops all about 3-4 years old and I found some resources on the net on turning them into photo frames, most of the resources area a bit outdated and applying the steps outlined do not work and result in me re-installing and starting again. the below sites i have tried but failed. Adamfranco's steps work to an extent but fail on the reload and restart of feh.

does anyone have any recent steps I am using dsl 4.11 rc2.
I have tried this on DSL, puppy Linux I can get the pictures to load by placing the script in /usr/local/bin/slideshow.sh
but that's about all that works.
  Huh
