Quote (Cybrid @ Mar. 18 2007,17:15) | I ran it on my P1 166 Mhz first but didn't work, I'm guessing that it's 16Mb RAM had something to say about that.
On my "real" computer it ran beautifully from the CD having loaded nearly all the drivers, desktop and apps on less than 48Mb. Very remarkable. I haven't been able to do anything other than surf the 'net but that comes from a lack of skill on my part.

Hey yea I did the same thing that Cybrid did, only that I did manage to get my old computer to work. However, theres two problems that I have encountered and i hope someone can help me with them. Its a P1 mmx 166Mhz with about 32Mb RAM. I think the sound card is a Creative.
1) As many of you may encounter when installing this kind of stuff, it doesn't recognize my sound card.
2) I get a screen picture and it works great only that the colors are not what they are supposed to be, (in other words it looks pretty crappy)
I've managed to mount DSL onto the hard drive so i don't run it live. I'm a noob but I can learn quick, I just need someone to guide me in the right direction.
