That solves watever was keeping it from not booting, but then there is no USB drivers or sound drivers for me to use and therefor, no usb or sound for me. :( How can I enable sound when inside of DSL? Can I? Or does it have to be enabled at boot?

Good point. I did do a forum search, and couldnt find the answer i was looking for. Without booting into failsafe, it loads and before it starts X it turns black. I waited for 5 minutes once and got nothing.

Then try choosing xfbdev and see if it works.

Otherwise, try xvesa and try a bunch of different resolutions (like 800 x 600 x 16 bit) and see if one of them works.

Or press CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE

and type:

Xvesa -listmodes

and see what resolutions are supported by your video card.
You need to capitalize the "X" in Xvesa
