AST Ascentia J50, P1 133mhz, 2gb hd, 40mb ram, Floppy drive, Parallel Zipdrive, Pcmcia cdrom, dual pcmcia slots running DSL 1.1 harddrive install.
I am trying to install a Belkin F5U222 dual port usb2 32 bit pcmcia cardbus.
I have googled my eye balls out for info on this with little luck.
On bootup cardmgr does not report this card, although it finds the pcmcia interface.(If I use my wifi card, both slots are working fine.)
Running dmesg shows(abbreviated): usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs and new driver hub uhci high bandwidth mode enabled Then reports uhci v1.275 deregistering driver usbdevfs, driver hub registered driver usbdevfs, driver hub deregistering driver usbdevfs, driver hub
usb.c:registered new driver usbdevfs and new driver hub usb.c:registered hiddev and hid hid-core.c:v1.8.1 and USB-HID support and drivers

I was reading an online article that mentions Yenta and ochi, echi, and 2 others that I don't recall.
Can anybody point me in the right direction to get this working?
Thank You
