I was just wondering if any of you use dsl for computer repair, and if so, what apps/utils can you use in dsl for misc troubleshooting?

I use it with the samba.dsl already loaded on the cd image

I use it to offload all the data from a corrupt/crashed M$ OS, to a Windows share in the network...normally while the data is being transfered it picks up the virus and wipes it out (its also safe just to transfer the data as long as you dont open/execute any files on the Windows share machine)

I then wipe the bad drive, re-install a fresh unvirused M$ OS, then restored what data is there minus the busted OS...

Works rather well actually!
