Hi All,
Apologies if this has been covered before, but I was unable to find it.
Here is my problem: I have acquired a Toshiba Libretto 100CT for free (lucky me eh?), and have decided to junk the M$ offerings for DSL. I'm not a total n00b to Linux, but I'm having difficulties with the HD Install. I have managed to get DSL to boot off a USB-attached, FAT-partitioned IDE disk, containing the KNOPPIX directory from the CD image, without major problems. I have followed the instructions from the DSL site/wiki, (cfdisk to create Type 82 partition for swap {256MB}, and a type 83 partition for the rest of the disk, then run the hd-install script). When I reboot my Libretto the third time, all I get is the GRUB loader prompt and nothing else, no menu and no idea of how to boot DSL from the HD...
Helllllppp! (Please!)
Cheers,
Jon
