'box' is the default hostname of DSL systems. Typically you'd enter a username and password, but DSL should automatically log you in by default. My guess is that you set up a password during the installation, or set it up as a multi-user system (I'm not sure but maybe just press enter when it asks for a password if you haven't set one up yet?), or maybe there is something wrong, and KNOPPIX is not loading.
