Yes
Copy the \knoppix\knoppix file over to your FIRST partition as /knoppix/knoppix (make sure that you get the uppercase/lowercase letters correct. In linux, I believe that it is /KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX or /knoppix/knoppix)
Then download the boot floppy image file from the DSL site. Then download rawrite or rawrite32 (search google) and create a new boot floppy disk.
Or if you are using linux, just use the "dd" command, ie:
Open root terminal
dd if=bootfloppy_filename.img of=/dev/fd0
Then use the boot floppy disk to start up DSL and please use this boot command at the prompt:
dsl frugal
