ok is linux and linux RPM the same thing, or does it matter? also is the mydsl extension the latest java or close to it? |
#1: No, they are different. If you want to use .rpm's you'll have to convert them to .deb's. It'll probably be much easier for you to use the self extracting one (I'm guessing you can just execute this normally like a makeself).
