Hello Folks!
Ive installed linux a couple of times, but since I never could get my wlan card working ive quickly gone back to windows. This time im determined to get it to work.
I have a d-link 610, after some searching ive found it that it uses the realtek 8180 chipset.
I have tried to ndiswrap both the original inf file and the net8180.inf file but none of them work.
I do like this: ndiswrapper -i net8180.inf and then modprobe ndiswrapper (dont really know what the last one is good for but thats what all the guides say)
Neither this one the original d-link610 driver works.
When i do ndiswrapper -l it says driver present hardware present, but the lamp on the wlan card doesnt even blink, as if the computer dont even know there is one there. Please help me, i dont want to go back to windows.
Regards / B.
