Im having some difficulty installing Wireless network on Damn small linux.
Here is my setup: I have Laptop, which i am using as a server with DSL installed on HD. I have a Thin Client which I run DSL from USB pen Drive.
Im using Belkin F5D7050B USB Wireless Adapter on the thin Client. I have a 3com OfficeConnect Acces Point on Server.
I am using Ndiswrapper Here are my commands:
ndiswrapper -i /pathto/your/drivers/inf ndiswrapper –l
I get a message, driver installed but the “hardware present” does not appear
Installed ndis drivers: Rt2500usb driver present,
I Know the drivers work on windows, i know the chip set is correct. .sys and .inf files are in same location. and i have checked: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List
Can you tell me why it is not detecting the hardware? Do I have any other
Can you take me through a step by step guide.
Thanks for your help
Dan
