Hello!
I have this problem:
When I'm on the screen where DSL gives you the option to press enter and continue charging or press F2 or F3, I press enter at boot: line in order to continue, but after that the screen goes black and nothing happens.
Any idea what this could be?

By the way my computer is and AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (1.66Ghz), with 256Mb RAM.

Thank You!

If a spec of dust or fingerprint is on a raw CDR it will effect the writing of data.  Likewise, reading data back from a good CD can be effected by a speck of dust, fingerprint, scratch, et cetera.

I just saw this happen to someone yesterday.

If not, look at the other issues.

It's not an iso image problem, I've downloaded it twice and both times burned it with slow speed, so I think that's not the problem.
I'll try brianw's posible solution.
My video card is and GeForce2
As soon as I try, I'll post to tell you how it went.
Thanks a lot!
See you!

P.S.: I forgot, I'm using 3.0.1 version

This may be a problem with your monitor.. (i.e. are you using a laptop?)

You may be able to get something by using the framebuffer (fb) modes.

Well I've solved the problem!

It just worked by booting with the line dsl nolapic

I used this because I was shure this was a problem with SMP, so no local apic was a possible solution, and it worked perfectly!

Thank you all! And I hope this can help anyone with the same problem!

Bye!
