If you're using a live CD or frugal install, a reboot should get rid of it.
If you have a traditional harddrive install, look inside the mydsl package to see what files were installed (tar -ztf filename.dsl). In the case of wmpinboard the only file installed is /usr/bin/wmpinboard. There is also a menu item, which is near the top of .fluxbox/mydsl.menu (or .fluxbox/menu in older versions of DSL). Just delete the wmpinboard line and save the file.
