First, I apologise if I write anything wrong because I got C in English class  :)
I want to put brltty.deb packet in DSL (I create it myself with other Linux and want to install it on DSL) when I use " dpkg -i brltty.deb " ,the system said "not found /var/lib/dpkg"
so I find dsl-dpkg.dsl on website and save it as /home/dsl. Afterthat I use "MyDSL" icon on DSL' desktop  to install it( I select the lowest buttom and install it). Now I can use "dpkg" and found another problem  :O .
While complie the system said " need libc6 >= 2.3.2.ds1-21, you have libc6 2.3.2.ds1-10, complie error" or something like that.So I look for libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 in the website, downloads and put it in /home/dsl. Afterthat I use "MyDSL" icon and do the same at above.
This time I think I can complie succeed but the system said "need libc6 >= 2.3.2.ds1-21 " agian  ??? Somebody please tell me what I do wrong.
Another question: After I restart DSL I can't find libc6.dsl and dsl-dpkg.dsl in /home/dsl. What I should do to restore my last work.(I forgot to tell u that I install DSL in compact flash on card-reader through USB port, DSL in sda1 and free space in  sda2)
  Thank you for your help.

/home is on the ramdisk, save it on an external media, such as sda2 in your case.  (you could boot with mydsl=)

.deb's are not created for dsl, but you could should check the dependencies etc. first before trying, try forcing the install, or manually extract it and try it out. (dpkg -X)

What do you mean by "complie"

For internet, find out your model and chipset of whatever you're trying to connect with.  (See system stats or lspci -v)
Then see if its compatible.
