Quote (Guest @ Nov. 28 2004,09:28) | I've done everything I can think of but with every change I make the version stays the same... Server: Monkey/0.8.2 (Linux)
I'm thinking that without updating those binaries in bin then the server stays the same? |
Something to consider is that the fluxbox menu items to start/stop/restart monkey (using the banana script) all point to /opt/monkey-0.8.2/. Didn't think to check about when using the Control Panel. So if you install new binaries (prolly safest to put in it's own directory, /opt/monkey-0.9.0/) you'll need to edit ~/.fluxbox/menu to change the monkey directory it looks in)
I think I recall there being a symbolic directory /opt/monkey, currently pointing to 0.8.2. Why not change that to point to 0.9.0, and change fluxbox to use the symbolic directory.
