As for Linmodem drivers, they probably will never be in the base iso. Especially not to replace Links.
Links rocks.
You gotta have a console mode browers, because some computers don't have enough muscle to run X.
Perhaps someone will make an extension for those drivers though.
As for T-bird, have you played with Sylpheed?
Many people like it better than T-bird. I include myself in that group.
But if you absolutely HAVE to have T-bird  , grab the extension in the net section of the repository.
