First: sorry for my English. I'm not a English naturally spoken.
Yestarday evening I read about DSL and this morning I have lauched it. I'm not sure but I think that DSL is the better Live Distro onto Linux background.
After my first DSL's day I have those problems:
1) I can't mount Samba share into LAN. I can view that via smbclient.lua, but if I do: mount -t smbsf //windows/share /my/dir/ -o username=User,password=Password
DSL said: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on //REGIA/dati, or too many mounted file systems
smbfs is supported by DSL? name, usr and pwd about my share are correct!
2) Monitor resolutions are wrong! On 1024x768x16/24 my monitor freeze! I must use 800x600x24/32. I have a normal 17" monitor. How can I set frequency monitor?
3) How can I install APT? and have a normally Debian Distro?
4) Haw can I customize my DSL, with name and logos about my work activities?
Thx for your trouble. See you soon!
