I am running DSL from CD. When Everything Loads my mouse does not work.
I have gone into xsetup.sh and tried every option to get it to work but nothing.
I am getting very frustrated with this problem..I have posted on other linux forums
with now replies whatsoever. When I run the Cd on other computers everything
works fine. I am having the problem on an old

AcerPower 4000
233mhz
32mb ram
4gig hd

any sugestions?

could use the help..............Thanx!!

What kind of mouse? touchpad, stick etc?

is it recognized on boot? ie do you see a message "mouse is p/s2 scrollwheel" etc anything related to mouse?

Also check if the kernel recognizes it: in Aterm type
