Just to check, for step 1 is that be applied on the files created in the ramdisk (later to be moved to the hdd) or the ones already in my hd install?

Hmm, I tried what you suggested and still no go

Please can you send me the 'hd' version of the package?

P.S.: Im using kernel 2.4.2.67 due to Troniks rework of DSL0.9.3 to include SATA.

That explains it..

NVidia drivers are compiled against the running kernel.
These ONLY support the 2.4.26 kernel in DSL.
( the patched knoppix 2.4.26 kernel )

If you can get the kernelsources from Tronik,
you may be able to compile it yourself.

Sri.. All my tests so far have been with DSL proper.
