If you want to stop a dock app temporarily(needed if you want to modify your slitlist order) then: dsl@box>top a task monitor of sorts scrolls into view, you'll notice on the right hand side a name for the tasks and on the left hand side a PID number. Press: "k" input desired PID number Press:Enter Press:y exit the window, make any changes to your slitlist file or whatever it is you were needing to do with the task killed. This is a great way to stop a task temporarily without having to change whether it starts at boot or not.
