I`ve already read some forum topics regarding various keyboard layouts, searched google, wiki... and this is what I`ve already tried to do: 1. setting boot param. lang=sk. This did nothing, layout still default 2. boot options keymaps=sk xkeymaps=sk. Same result 3. dsl control panel button 'keyboard'. I tried experimenting with this one a little. There are some 5 or 6 slovak layouts (sk-qwerty/qwertz, sk-prog-qwerty/qwertz, sk, sk-prog, I`m not sure if this is completely correct). I`ve tried all of them. The only result is, that layout changes between qwerty and qwertz, I still can`t use any accents and so on. But when I tried some different layouts, like for example czech, it worked- I could use accents and everything (though I can`t say if it worked the way it was supposed to, because I don`t know correct czech layout...). This made me thing, that I should somehow get the proper slovak maps or something. I tried searching extensions and... 4. I found xkeymaps. It is a really great application! I used it to make my own layout, but there is still a problem. I didn`t figure out how to make it possible to assign special slovak characters, like ô, ľ, ť, č, ä. I can assign á, ý, í..., but my problem is this accent: ˇ
I would greatly appreciate any sort of help. Thanks a lot for your time!
P.S.: When I was trying those layouts, I used nano, xshell, shell and Tim.
