i cant install using apt-get and i can't install perl either just errors out some file it wants isnt the version it wants cant remember what.

anyway whats the easiest way to get kde into a dsl install.

DSL + KDE  = Knoppix

as far as the bloatware level goes.

I am sure that it is possible to install KDE on DSL, but I cannot think of a good reason why.

If your computer can run KDE smoothly, then Knoppix is the right tool for the job.
